I need your help!
Event Horizon is currently under active development, and to improve the quality of its writing, I need avid readers like you to provide critical feedback on the manuscript. Your involvement would be greatly appreciated and could significantly impact the story's quality.
How it works
By agreeing to become a beta reader, you will gain access to the Event Horizon manuscript to read and provide feedback on. This is a long-term project, but your continued involvement is not mandatory. Beta feedback occurs in rounds; for example, one round might involve you receiving the manuscript for Chapters 1-3 to read and then provide feedback using Google Docs comments, the handy feedback worksheet, and participating in online feedback review sessions. Feedback session calls are completely optional, but they do offer a chance for in-depth discussions about the story and your thoughts. Crucially, the level of engagement is entirely up to you—whether you'd prefer to limit your feedback to written notes and comments, write a review, or have a direct conversation.
After receiving your feedback, any necessary revisions will be made to the manuscript. This process is repeated for subsequent chapters in each round. Should you wish to take a step back between rounds, you're more than welcome to do so; any feedback provided up until that point will still be valued, and I won't request more feedback or send additional chapters.
